    I have read all the books in this series and I have loved them all, Shannon Mayer is a fantastic author and I will continue to read her work in the future. I love how different this series is from most of the paranormal novels out these, Mayer went all out and created a whole new world, and her characters are amazing. I love Rylee, she is a take no shit girl, she has a difficult past that she is still overcoming and she can fight better than any man, but she also has a huge heart and a ton of sass and sarcasm.

    This novel brings us to a difficult relationship ending, soul crushing moment and a HUGE realization (I can't say I didn't kind of see it coming but to have my suspicions conformed was amazing) that Liam throws at Rylee while she is already dealing with so much. I have to say that if it weren't for the news Liam imparts on Rylee she probably would have broken down to a useless mess, so it was perfectly timed. I pray to all things holy that she forgives Doran, because I love him to death (and have always liked him more than Liam), that Pam pulls through and blows away all the nasties, and that Alex finally remembers himself and how to shift.

    Shannon Mayer knows how to weave a story that pulls at all your heart strings, draws out your emotions, thoroughly entertains, and and makes you laugh out loud. If you have not read this series and you are looking for something paranormal that isn't anything like what you have read before, try out this series, it is amazing!
