-----THIS IS BOOK 3 IN THE COCKTAIL SERIES-----

Okay, Alice Clayton is amazing! This is her third book in the "Cocktail" series and they just keep getting better and better! I would have to say that without a doubt I fell in love with Viv at her high school reunion, but after reading this book, she is now my all time favorite character of all time!

I fell head over heels in love with this series and Clayton's writing after less than one paragraph into "Wallbanger", the first book in this series. All the female characters are outrageously funny, but not in an over the top kind of way, they are just like any normal group of friends. These girls are so easy to relate to that I felt as if some of their conversations were ripped straight out of my life. The men are great, and have their own quirky personalities that fit so perfectly with the each other, all of the characters are extremely easy-going, easy relatable to, and so amusing that you will want to re-read the whole series. Really the dialog and story lines in all of Clayton's novels are amazingly done and should not be missed!

I have to say (not just because I love her) Viv was a FANTASTIC female lead. She is an very smart young woman, software engineer with her own company, she has tattoos for days and a ton of piercings! But the best part (and my favorite characteristic) is Viv’s imagination! It just takes over and suddenly she is thrown into a world where she is bodice wearing heroin in need of a good ravishing from a muscular and sweaty cowboy, or a pillaging pirate or even a naughty librarian (hey woman fantasize about those too). She could blame it on all the romance novels she reads, but It reminded me so much of myself that I know it's just a cop out to do that. Also the things that would slip out of her mouth, this girl is too much, too much awesome that is!

If you haven't read any of the books in this series I STRONGLY suggest you do so immediately, you will NOT regret it because Alice Clayton is a genius with words!
