This a cute one, I really liked it. Betsy St. Amant did a wonderful job, the writing was well done, the story line romantic, cute and entertaining in a bubbling, awkward, don't know how to deal relationships kind of way. I loved the uncertainty and how the two main characters, Kat and Lucas so obviously love each other and don't know how to broach the subject or express the emotion.
The cupcake show is amazing, I love how St. Amant worked in the behind the scenes, stress and pressure they are under and how it pulls Kat and Lucas apart before pushing them together. This is just an amazingly well put together book and I really enjoyed reading it. It has great humor and an adorable best friend combo not sure of themselves but completely confident in each other.
