This was a good book, I wasn't blown away by it or anything but it was a good book. The story line was good, parts of it were a bit predictable in my opinion, but overall it was a good read. It wasn't too long or drawn out, with a good pace, the writing was done nicely, though it had it's confusing moments, like what color Adam's eyes are (they were described as three different colors throughout the book), and the characters were decent.
I didn't like Jewels much if at all until about mid book when Jewels is down for the count in bed "sick" from a party the night before. From that point on she seemed to be a different person, not my favorite person mind you, but better than she was. But again, I don't like how she treats Adam some of the time. Adam is amazing, he's strong willed, kind, caring, slightly mysterious, and just all around a wonderful person. Kelly, is awesome and I wish she were my best friend, she is all around an amazing character as well. Then there is Theo, I in so in love with Theo that I can't stand it! There needs to be another book where he and Kelly get together, because I love them both!
I may be being really picky and weird about this book for some reason, maybe I'm just hormonal today, but I didn't really get the warm fuzzies from this book, and I have a feeling that is because of Jewels. If it weren't for her being slightly self centered, and extremely sex craved I would have felt more into this story. I did however love the story itself, the sex scenes were done very well, really steamy and the sexual energy and tension throughout the book was perfect. Jennifer Ann, you did well and I hope to read more from you in the future (hopefully about Kelly and Theo, yum!).
