A Vault of Sins by Sarah Harian

My Rating---> 5 of 5 STARS

Read on Sept. 22nd, 2014

-----THIS IS BOOK 2 IN THE CHAOS THEORY-----

    Holy SHIT this was amazing!! I literally have no other words, I loved every word of it! Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark have nothing on Evalyn Ibarra and Casey Hargrove!! Sarah Harian you are amazing, the writing was done beautifully, the description was perfect, the story line completely original and out of the box (or in it for our criminals).

    A world where you commit a crime and can be given the opportunity to win back your freedom, what's the catch you say? You have to survive a nice long stay in a Compass Room, imagine a forest where you have to live off the land, try not to get killed by your surroundings or  the other criminals, but are also subjected to reliving your crime in some twisted and messed up ways over and over again until you either snap and get killed or prove you are reformed and remorseful for your crime.

    Evalyn is amazing, she kicked ass in the first novel but in the sequel she doesn't have nearly as much help and man is she a bad ass! After winning her freedom, along with Casey and Valerie the three lose a court case and go their separate ways. The ladies turn to booze to cope with the trauma, and PTSD that they are constantly living with and trying to get through. Circumstances arise and Valerie ends up getting brought in due to re-trial of her crimes and thrown back into the Compass Room again, Evalyn takes it upon herself to make a deal to turn herself in. Evalyn goes into the Compass Room to save Valerie and take down the Compass Room and the company behind it.

    This book delivered in the same way the first book, "The Wicked We Have Done", did. Non stop action, violence, trauma, and a bit of love. I absolutely loved this novel as much as the first and cannot wait for the next in the series! If you like Dystopian novels, chaos and violent criminals getting put through the ringer than this is a series I suggest you don't miss out on!
