The Necromancer by Alex Stargazer

My Rating---> 4 of 5 STARS

Read on Oct. 29th, 2014

Purchase on Amazon HERE

    This was a fantastic read, I blew through it in five hours today and enjoyed ever single magically action packed minute of it! Alex Stargazer managed to include everything a book of this nature should and some things that I wasn't expecting. Don't believe me? Read the synopsis, then go get the freaking book and read it, cause it is great! The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because I honestly don't normally read books with this setting or time line, but beside that I fell as if this would have been just that much better if it were set in our era instead of in a land in which we once have known aka a land of Stargazer's imagination.

    Stargazer did a fantastic job with the characters, relationships and details through out all the twists and turns in this unpredictable plot line. Stargazer wove a very unique and complicated plot line and I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding talent that this amazing sixteen year old has shown. I was constantly on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next and who it would happen to. The mages, fae, elves, ghosts, humans, the undead and one complicated and misunderstood necromancer were a great mix and the lightly woven in romance was a great little addition as well.

    I was highly entertained, completely captivated, and entirely sucked into this amazing novel from the very start. The mystery, magic, action, romance, and complicated plot kept me hooked and reading all the way through. I definitely recommend this novel to anyone that likes all the aforementioned. Please go pick up this amazingly well written novel, like I said you will be completely entertained all the way through and absolutely in awe of the fact that it was written by a SIXTEEN year old!!

    I freaking LOVED this book!!!! So freaking good, the mix of angel lore and Greek mythology is amazing! The writing was amazing, the characters were perfect, the pace was great, the detail amazing and Oh My Gods this book is just SO amazing! From the very first paragraph I was hooked and it was one hell of a ride, I had a great time reading this and the characters are awesome they each have completely different personalities, character traits, and specialties.

    I am, like I always seem to say, not going to explain what this book is all about. I will explain why I don't give you the plot or out line of books, it is because the authors not only put a lot into writing these books, but they also out a lot into finding the perfect words to put into a synopsis to catch your attention and make you feel intrigued enough to want to read it. So go read the synopsis if you like my, or any other review and want to know a bit more.

    What I will say is that I LOVED this book, all the brothers have very distinct personalities and traits special to them but they all have different backgrounds and troubled pasts to get past as well. No matter all that they instantly know and love Khara as a sister, even though there are a few humors comments about how hot she is and having to remind each other that she is blood relation. Then there is Oz, oh Oz, he is darkly mysterious and intriguing and he despite what he says loves Khara and protects her. The uncertainty and pretend loathing between these two is perfect and causes just enough sexual tension.

    Khara and her brothers know nothing of her birth, her heritage or why she spent her entire life in the underworld with Hades as an adoptive parent. But they intend to find out and continue to hide her existence from their father. In the meantime Oz knows much more than her is willing or able to say and is trying to fight the pull and feelings he has for Khara at the same time.

    Amber Lynn Natusch has done an amazing job on this book and I am now a loyal and life long fan! I will be eagerly awaiting the next book in this series and am throwing out recommendations to anyone and everyone that enjoys mythology and paranormal reads or really wants to read something that has a fantastic melding of the two! So if you are reading this do not sit on the fence about it, go and get it, you will NOT regret it a single bit!

Missy the Werecat by P.G. Allison

    I want to say this before I say anything else at all, THIS STORY IS AWESOME! I loved the story line, the characters, the details, everything was amazing. That being said I have to say that the tone of the writing was too stiff. I felt like there could have been more humor to break up the serious tone that P.G. Allison gave off in this novel. This could be due to the point of view being a narrative story that was only broken up on occasion by Missy's point of view. I will NOT say that it ruined it for me, obviously it didn't because I still gave it a four star rating, but it did feel a bit off putting. It felt stiff, a bit dry and gave me the impression that wither the characters or the writer a slightly up tight. Due to the content of the story I know that can't be true, this was amazing and I look forward to reading the second novel because I really enjoy Missy's story and I want to see her as a bad ass CIA girl or something.

    Despite the text book like feel of the writing the story unfurled really well and I grew to like Missy and her family, the level of love and understanding they all have for Missy and all she went through is amazing and I love that she is always looking out for everyone. Missy is like a super hero and no one except her family knew how. The details throughout the entire story are perfect and the story kept a good pace. I feel that I would recommend this to any of my friends that enjoy super natural reads. P.G. Allison you did a very good job with this book, the tone might need a bit of improvement but you have a very creative mind and if you wrote the story as if you were talking to a friend I feel it would have been a five star novel. I look forward to reading the next Missy adventure!

Surviving Love by M.S. Brannon

My Rating---> 5 of 5 STARS

Read on Oct. 21st, 2014

----THIS IS BOOK 4 IN THE SULFUR HEIGHTS SERIES----
    I'm gonna sound like a M.S. Brannon groupie fan girl but I just don't care, I freaking LOVE this series and Brannon's style of writing. I'm just going to be completely honest right now, when I saw the chance to read and review this, I jumped on the list so fast my husband thought I was going to break a finger typing my name! Then when it showed up on my kindle I dropped the book I was reading (which was really good by the way) and instantly started reading this! Told you I was gonna sound like a fan girl groupie, haha, but I honestly am and if you have read any of the novels in the Sulfur Heights series you would understand why. Brannon writes pain, hope and loss so entrancingly that they bleed from the pages and into depths of your heart and mind. While you're reading about these people you will feel as if they are real and tangible to you, you'll become as consumed with emotion as the characters do.

    Poor Drake has been through so much and is just trying to survive day to day with out having his anger take over and unleash itself upon everyone. His beautiful little girl Mia is his only real saving grace, until the beautiful Zoe shows up and turns his whole world upside right. I LOVE all of the characters in the series and every time Brannon introduces a new character I get flustered and protective of this family that I have grown to love, but every new character is just as amazing as the the last and half way through the novel I fall in love with all over again. Zoe is no different and to find out the coincidental connection that she shares with the Evans family seems outrageously perfect.

    I really want to get a point of view novel for Jeremy, that poor boy lost his way in a HUGE way and messed up big time but I so badly want him to be okay and to get the resolution with his family that he needs to heal and find his way again. Plus we all know that a good woman can ALWAYS help straighten a mans head and priorities, haha. I again CANNOT wait for the next novel in this series because I am a true M.S. Brannon/Evans Family junkie! I have said it before and I will say it again, if your have NOT read any of the novels in this series PLEASE go do so NOW, it is a MUST READ!! Start here with book one, "Scarred Love"

Soundtracks of a Life by Carina Lupo

My Rating---> 3 of 5 STARS

Read on Oct. 21st, 2014

    This was a decent read, it was well written and did not have too many overlooked spelling or grammar errors. It also had amazingly strong characters, and though the story was from Lorielai's point of view, it was also broken up at times to allow the other characters to have a fair amount of spotlight sharing. The author, Carina Lupo, made me laugh and cry and at one point I was just as scared as Chris while he was driving on one particular Christmas. But by far my FAVORITE aspect is that Lupo actually had specific songs she was thinking of in place of the ones Lorelai was writing, and I really loved the songs referenced they were perfect choices.

    I was so sad for Lorelai and all that she went through as a teen and young adult, she lost everyone she cared about. Lupo did a wonderful job portraying the difficulties and mental state something like this would have caused somebody. Lorelai's relationship with Chris is her saving grace, he brings her back from the brink time and again, and makes her want to truly live her life. Chris is an amazing man, the kind of man any woman would love to bring home to her parents, that personality type along with the band's group dynamic and variety of personalities makes this book what it is and breaks up the sadness and melodrama with a bit of humor.

    This isn't your typical rock and roll band and their celebrity status doesn't seem to effect them too much. The whole sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll thing isn't really there, although they do enjoy their earned celebrity they don't let it go to their heads. It seems more like a true to life portrayal of the lives of this band and their AMAZING manager and how they love each other like family. This was a good read, i enjoyed it and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit serious, a tiny bit sad, with a cute romantic twist.

The Resolution of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorensen

My Rating---> 5 of 5 STARS

Read on Oct. 21st, 2014

----THIS IS BOOK 6 IN THE COINCIDENCE SERIES----
    Yet another AMAZING novel by Jessica Sorensen, I swear that this woman doesn't know how to write poorly! I cannot tell you all how relieved I was for Kayden in this novel and how proud I felt for Callie for what she did over Thanksgiving break, I have read this entire series and feel as if I have known Sorensen's characters my whole life, and although this book seemed a bit short for my liking (I read it in about two hours) it covered all the bases. This book was definitely all about the various resolutions that Callie and Kayden so desperately needed, and they finally got to close the book on a lot of things.

    It has been a long, tortured and painful road for Callie and Kayden and as you begin each book in this series you are reminded of the fact that it will be a constant battle for them to fight back all of the emotional and physical scars they bare. Every time I read anything by Sorensen I am effected by the emotion and struggle on every page, she captures the pain, fear, loss and hope of every situation so well I can't help but feel it.

    These two characters have come a very long way since the first chapter in book one "The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden" and Sorensen has us relive their highlights in this book as Callie and Kayden take a walk down memory lane and visit all the places that meant the most to them since the day they bumped into each other on the college lawn. While doing this you get to see how far they have come in their relationship and in their healing and you can feel the inner strength they have and the strength of the bond between them. Throughout this book Callie is writing a book of her own and they way she tells her special version of their story is amazing and heartfelt.

    I just can not express enough how amazing this whole series has been and how emotional it has made me every time I read it, and how chocked up I am getting right now about seeing it come to an end. I hope that anyone reading this and hasn't read this series goes out and does so now, it is an amazing, heartbreaking and haunting story of hope and love.

Lies We Tell Ourselves by Robin Talley

My Rating---> 4 of 5 STARS

Read on Oct. 20th, 2014

    Another fantastic book on equality, Robin Talley did an amazing job with this novel she wrote this story beautifully and with such detail and horror it felt as if I was witnessing these atrocious deeds first hand. The pace of the writing was perfect and kept me engaged the entire way through and the characters are perfectly written. This is sadly STILL a controversial topic and it makes me sad to know that these things really happened to people just because they are different.

    I felt so strongly for Sarah and Linda they had enough going against them, a life time of being raised by a strong belief of segregation and racism, but to not only be different from each other but also different in the fact they want to be friends, then to also have a whole other difference that brings on a whole other type of confusion and fear. Sarah and Linda seemed to not only have their friends, family and society against them but they also had their religious beliefs shaken up.

    This is just a really amazing novel about some incredibly strong topics, it brought all of my emotions to the surface through out the story and made me feel incredibly lucky to have been raise in a time where we are almost all welcomed, accepted, celebrated and loved for our differences. Skin color, race, religion, sexual orientation, or even just our core beliefs. This is a book I feel everyone should read at least once, so please go out and get it, curl up and read it, love the SHIT outta it and come back here and tell me and the rest of the world what your thoughts and reactions are!

The Moment Before by Suzy Vitello

My Rating---> 3 of 5 STARS

Read on Oct. 20th, 2014

    This was a good book, a bit sad but it is a wonderful depiction of a high school girl dealing with her grief over the loss of a sister she thought she was close to. The secrets that come out after people pass away and the things they were always keeping to themselves and all that. The author, Suzy Vitello did a wonderful job with this novel, the flow of the writing was perfect, the story line was great, the emotions were spot on, and the characters were believable.

    The Irish twin girls is something I relate to as well, my sister and I are close in age and my two boys are only 14 months apart in age and you think you are telling each other everything and are a part of everything the other does but then one day you realize you don't know them as well as you thought you did. I wasn't sucked into this book and had to fight myself to keep from putting it down a few times but for some unknown reason I was compelled to see what happened next and I felt attached to Brady and the strange way she felt as if she was still communicating with her sister Sabine, I also really wanted to see if Brady would make things work out between her and Connor or if she ever spills all the secrets she uncovered about Sabine and her relationship with Nick.

    The ending was a bit hectic and hurried, like everything just happened so quickly but it was a good wrap up to the book. I despite my boredom in the beginning ended up actually really liking this novel and I felt as if it was worth reading. If anyone asked me for a coming of age novel recommendation I would add this to my list of good reads.

Push by Claire Wallis

My Rating---> 5 of 5 STARS

Read on Oct. 19th, 2014

    Great Googly Moogly! I have never wanted to love a bad guy more than I love David! Claire Wallis you did a number on me, my mind was scrambled, blown then scrambled again. Wallis is a great writer, the details, the description, the characters, the STORY LINE, the whole novel is completely fantastic! I am not going to explain the story line to you or tell you anything really other than my reaction to the novel and how EPICLY AMAZING it is!

    After reading the synopsis I was completely intrigued, I mean come on mystery, suspense, romance who wouldn't been intrigued?! But, then I read the prologue and was even more hooked in, one hell of a way to start a novel, I was like whoa wait a minute, what the hell is going on??!!! Then comes the romance, the getting to know the characters, how their relationship unfolds and becomes love, the heat, the passion and the chemistry. Let me tell you the chemistry between Emma and David is H-O-T, like explosively so! Emma is one bold and daring woman but it make for one amazing start to their relationship.

    Things started to get really interesting and I thought I knew what was going on, like..oh I see whats going on, I get it! That Ah Ha! moment in the novel... but sadly nope, I was way off. I went from Ah Ha! to...wait what? Then came the guessing, could this be what's happening, what clue is it I'm not seeing?! And then Wallis goes and does it, she ended the novel in a cliff hanger, does she or doesn't she, because we don't know what David will do after he realizes how much he really does love Emma! I cannot wait to see what happens next, WE NEED BOOK TWO!!!

    These characters have complicated, painful pasts and it's really makes you love them. Emma and David really are two of the same, their relationship from day one is a constant push and pull between the two and they get each other in a way that most couples only ever dream of. Wallis did an amazing job with this novel, from what I understand it is her first and oh my what a way to start out! This is a haunting and emotional complex story about two people with pain, abuse, neglect, and anger in their pasts and how they come together, but the REAL story is David, what is he hiding, why have all the previous women in his life vanished without a trace and why does he have such a passion for bridges?

    Do I recommend this novel? HELL YES I DO!! Please EVERYONE reading this, go and get this book, it is inexpensive and SO FUCKING WORTH IT!!! You will not regret it!

Rites of Passage by Joy N. Hensley

My Rating---> 4 of 5 STARS

Read on Oct. 12th, 2014

    How fucking wow! This is one amazing novel, Joy N. Hensley you are amazing and one twisted woman, you go girl. The women's equality is so strongly fought for throughout this entire novel and it is AMAZING! This novel chalked full of military training, politics, secret society members, mystery, a female hacker, arguments, emotions and one girls battle to prove women can be equals in the military, oh yea and hunky guys!

    The characters are amazing as well, the twisted messed up Assholes trying to break Sam down and the allies that Sam made in her battalion. Drill is the sweetest of her allies and he is amazing and hot as hell to help things out. The sexist fucks all over the place are even really amazingly written, and they are everywhere. This is a glimpse into the struggle of a girl that has lost a brother, been raised military, and is trying to prove that she has a place among the boys in the military academy high school that her brother attends.

    Sam's struggles start as her trying to win the last bet her brother made with her before he died. Everything after that is sweat, blood, tears and a lot of fear. There is a secret society that has hold at the school and they don't want women there so they make Sam's superiors do anything they can to get her to leave. But Sam proves stronger than they thought and it turns violently dangerous for her. You have to read this novel to believe it and HOLY SHIT is it worth it!

*Sorry my langue is a bit crude but it happens from time to time*

    This is a fantastic series, the mystery, adventure, and magic mix with a little slice of romance! Sarah Rees Brennan is a wonderful writer with an exceptional knack for detail and imagination. the characters and their struggles and forged friendships are wonderful and the light hearted banter between the characters is fun and keeps you wanting more.

    Kami, Jared and Ash are a formatable triangle, and with all the complicated and complex emotions are unmatched by any other novel I have read. The friendships and romantic feelings woven throughout this novel series is unmatched a well, the lesbian aspect was a slight surprise and a welcome one at that. I really had fun reading this series and hope to enjoy more from Brennan in the future.

Stay with Me by J. Lynn

My Rating---> 5 of 5 STARS

Read on Oct. 6th, 2014

----THIS IS BOOK 3 IN THE WAIT FOR YOU SERIES----

    I waited what felt like an eternity for this book to come out, it was NOTHING like the first two but just as amazing. J.Lynn (Jennifer L. Armentrout) is one of my favorite authors and this book is just another in a long line of books that prove that. The emotion, romance, suspense, humor and sass in this novel is fantastic!

    When I first started reading this novel I thought it was going to be along the lines of the first two books but it was in a league of its own, it was not as much a romance (though it still definitely was). This novel is more of a thrilling suspenseful crime drama with a romantic twist. This novel seems to be more a cross between the author's romance (NA) books and her more action packed books. I will not being explaining what this book is about seeing as there is a very well thought out and written synopsis on the that you can take the time to read, but I will say that this book is even better than the first two in the series and SO worth taking the time to read.

    The characters are amazing, they each have their own type of sass, arrogance, confidence and they are all a bit quirky! the story line is too good to pass up, I was constantly guessing and wondering about things. The sexy action in this is great too, not too steamy but still just sexy enough, J. Lynn you are amazing, a fantastic writer, with perfect amounts of details, thrill, adventure, mystery, intrigue, humor, romance and sex. PLEASE keep up the fantastic work and I look forward to whatever your next book may be!

Wander and Roam by Anna Kyss

My Rating---> 4 of 5 STARS

Read on Oct. 6th, 2014

Purchase on Amazon HERE

    I thought this book was okay but it wasn't one of my favorites, the author, Anna Kyss did a wonderful job writing and with the story line but the first half of the book was a bit boring and melodramatic for me. The characters are great, the sadness in them both is over powering and it was quite obvious that Sage is running away from his demons, just as Abby is running away from hers. As soon as Abby's story was fully told I already predicted the outcome of this entire story.

    After Abby shared her story with Sage the book picked up and I started to enjoy it much more. I started to connect with Abby and Sage and feel for them, from that point on Anna Kyss wove a wonderfully haunting story of loss and what we can and will endure when we love. This is a good book that had me on a  roller coaster of emotion, had amazing detail and heart warming characters. I am dying to find out where this story is going to go from here.

    If you are interested in a story that will tug at your heart strings, have you entranced in a whirl wind romance and having you begging to know what is going to happen next, than this is a book you should give a read!

This is Falling by Ginger Scott

My Rating---> 4 of 5 STARS

Read on Oct. 5, 2014

    Alright so I really really really like Ginger Scott's writing and her stories speak to my soul. Well, I have read "How We Deal With Gravity" and now "This is Falling" and both of them are exceptionally well written, highly emotional, dramatic, thought provoking, insightful and entertaining. Scott weaves a great story that combines real life situations, problems, difficulties and concerns with fictional characters that are so realistic and believable that you will feel as if they aren't fictional characters at all. I also love the bit of humor and playfulness that Scott injects the story and all the interaction between the characters with.

    I absolutely fell in love with these characters, Rowe is amazing, she has gone through a huge, traumatic, life altering and slightly debilitating ordeal and is working, albeit slowly, to get through it and to the other side. Rowe wants desperately to work through her problems and be "normal" and starting college in a state as far as she could find from her home town and her family felt like the best way to start. That's where she grows as a person and starts to come out of her protective shell. Rowe makes friends in the most unlikely of people such as the hot brothers down the hall Nate and Ty, the slightly slutty sorority sister Paige and not so unlikely people like her roommate Cass.

    Nate is amazing, he is sweet, caring, kind and compassionate, not to mention one heck of a looker. He is fulfilling a dream he didn't know he wanted, and meets Rowe. Nate brings out the real Rowe and makes her feel alive again. He loves her with such tenderness, is extremely gentle with Rowe and never pushes her too much too fast. Nate looks past all of Rowe's scars, fears, and the past she un-wantingly clings to and loves the her she hides from herself and he does everything he can to bring her to the surface. Nate is the perfect companion for Rowe and as she tries to deny how she feels she finds herself falling in love with the guy she is best friends with.

    I did however find this story a bit on the mushy romantic side, don't misunderstand me, I LOVE sappy romance but this college love was very high school dramatic. It is most likely due to the fact that Rowe didn't have a typical high school experience therefore she is a bit stunted when it comes to emotional experience. On the other hand the immaturity that this brings to the book made me laugh and engaged me in a way I'm not sure I would have otherwise experienced. So I wouldn't say it was a bad thing nor did it hender the novel, it's story line, or the characters in any way.

    I found myself sucked into the budding love between Nate and Rowe and I loved Ty and Cass even more so I am really excited to read the follow up novel about Ty. This was a wonderful novel written by a fantastic writer and I look forward to reading more by Ginger Scott in the future. Anyone reading this that enjoys reading about a girl with a complicated, sad and difficult to overcome past falling in love with a goofy, lovable college athlete that understands pain and loss, please give this a read!

----THIS IS BOOK 2 IN THE WAYWARD FIGHTERS SERIES----

    So, complete honesty here folks, this book was well written and entertained me. Although it was also, shorter than I thought it would be, VERY predictable, and frustrated me slightly. I kept finding myself yelling at Ally because she was being stupid and not telling Jami anything extremely important. I also started to become frustrated with Jami, that sexy piece of man candy but his actions were a bit more understandable.

    Author J.C. Valentine did a wonderful job with the writing and story line. The premise is unique as well as the characters, I haven't much encountered many novels about boxers or MMA fighters and their lives and struggles etc. so it was a great read for me that way. I don't know if it's just because I haven't read the first book  but I just wasn't feeling it. I was just really disappointed in the fact that I could predict the outcome from very early on. I felt slightly clairvoyant while reading this, not very fun for me. But it was good and I enjoyed the sexy parts as well as the characters, so it was worth the time.

----THIS IS BOOK 2 IN THE BURNOUT SERIES----
    Okay, I freaking Love this series and am not so patiently awaiting the final installment! The characters in Karen Gordon's novels are amazing, I absolutely relate to these character and the love between all of them is pure and real. I can honestly say I laughed and cried and fell in love in "Burnouts, Geeks & Jesus Freaks", but was really excited for this book because Steve and MG were by far my favorite characters!

    We got to see Steve and MG start a love that MG was afraid to have and Steve wanted more than anything. Now we get to see them grow and learn to take care of themselves while nurturing their love. This is an amazing love story with best friends, good times, lots of laughs, love, new experiences and rekindling old friendships and romances. Gordon has a way of making you realize what is really important in life, while also finding yourself reminiscing about the past.

    I had a great time reading this, it was a roller coaster of emotions and one hell of a romance! I loved the newest characters and am SO excited to see what happens next!!! Karen Gordon you are an amazing writer, I am glad that I got a chance to read your novels and the fact that you actually take advice and ask for readers opinions is amazing! I wish you a TON of luck with all of your adventures, and look forward to reading EVERYTHING you write in the future.

    Anyone that enjoys reading a romantic novel with epic, fun love, hilarious and wonderful gay guys, a hot young musician and a slightly confused, loyal, generous and loving girl, this is a fantastic choice and you should give it a shot!

Finding Esta by Shah Wharton

My Rating---> 3 of 5 STARS

Read on Sept. 28th, 2014

Purchase on Amazon HERE

    I'm just going to trow out my opinion of this novel in now format or professional manner what so ever, cause that's how I feel like rolling today. I really enjoyed this read, the author Shah Wharton did a great job with a new twist on paranormal entities being aliens, so super awesome, enjoyable, and captivating. I love paranormal reads and started to get a bit bored of the same ole same ole, so this was really refreshing to me.

    I did however feel as if Wharton tried to shove WAY too much information in all at once instead of gradually introducing things. However this was only an issue through some of the book as it started to slow down a bit once Luna was on her search for Esta. There were quite a few concepts going into this novels story line and I felt as if by the end there were a few unanswered questions, but the cliff hanger gives me reason to believe that my questions may be answered in the second installment in this series.

    The characters were great, Luna is a bit confused and lost, she keeps losing and getting back her shadow friends living in her head, Ada and Flo whom support her in any way they can. Sex man on the bike is full of useful information and I wish to see lots more of him in the next book, I also am very please Luna got to seek revenge for her horrid childhood. haha am I wrong for being excited about all that bloody revenge? Probably!

    This was a a fun, exciting, creative read and I am so thrilled I got to read it, if you like paranormal novels and want something with a new twist on it read this!

Come Back To Me by Mila Gray

My Rating---> 5 of 5 STARS

Read on Sept. 27th, 2014

    I absolutely loved this book! The prologue sucked me in right away and I was captivated all the way through. The characters are extremely well written, lovable, and so believable that you feel like you are reading someone's real story. Kit and Jessa are perfect together and the progression of their love story is heartwarming. I just feel like I can't say it enough this novel is AMAZING! The detail and romance in this novel are exquisite and the emotion, love and heartbreak are unforgettable. Mila Gray (aka Sarah Alderson) did a fabulous job and I cannot wait to read more from her in the future!

     I know I have said it before but I will say it again, I am starting to get bored to tears reading New Adult novels, all of them are college dorm romances! There is more to life than falling in love in a college dorm building or at a stupid frat party, also not everyone goes to college or even try a community college real life stuff! UGH, but Gray broke free from the pack and not only delivered a new setting but an all new look at love. Military families and relationships are difficult and this is glimps into the life of military living.

    There is no way you can say no to reading this, it is sweet, romantic, dramatic and sad, you will have constant butterflies fluttering around in your stomach, and a smile on your face. There is even happiness that comes from the sadness. Please read it, you will NOT regret it!

    I never know what exactly to say in these things, I keep writing review and I have no idea if they say all the things they should. haha anyway, I will just start by saying that I really liked this book, although it started out VERY slow and I felt myself losing interest but it picked up and I ended up liking the direction it went in.

    The characters weren't very well developed in my opinion but they did have depth and provoked emotion. Their attraction and intensity is magnetic, off the charts and I loved every second of it. Raven is looking for answers about her deceased father in the Cameroon among the Gorillas and the sanctuary he worked at. That's when She meets Jospin the dangerous boy in the jungle, he is the wealthy son of a powerful poacher and all he wants is a life of his own. Jospin and Raven have so many sparks I'm not sure how they managed to not burn down the jungle!

    This story line was unique and original, the last few chapters had me on the edge of my seat and the ending was an unexpected twist that I can't wait to read what happens next in book number two. Everyone should give this novel a try, I must say it was very refreshing to not read another new adult novel based in a college dorm. This novel is so new and refreshing, Please I implore you give it a shot because it is worth it.

Loving You Is Easy by Wendy S. Marcus

    Okay this is a cute one! The story line, the characters, the writing, this novel has been done extremely well. Writer Wendy S. Marcus wove a wonderful story with hilarious situations, serious accusations, a beautiful love, a wounded Veteran learning to adjust to his new life.

    Goodness I am not going to explain the synopsis but I will say this is a funny, charming and heart warming story and it is worth reading. The characters are great, school teacher Brooke is a good girl, strong, intelligent and knows how to handle herself. She is pen pals with an active duty solider, while writing Shane they get to know everything there is to know about each other. Shane gets injured and sent home, now that he's home he is having a hard time dealing with his new life and the injuries that he now has.

    These two make and the things they go through are entertaining and fun to read about. I adored both of them and I really enjoyed their chemistry and banter and the love between them and the families they have. Marcus did really well and I am so glad that I got to read this book.

    This book is free on Amazon and for free it is a good book, I wasn't that impressed with the writing. It seemed a bit PG for a novel with this type of story line. This was an entertaining read and for the price it is well worth the quick read. The story line is cute and fun, and the characters (for the most part) are well written. Bryson and Baya are cute together and their personalities go well together. I didn't like Baya's brother, he's a pig and over protective at the same time (slightly weird).

    I saw it was free and thought why not give it a shot, so if that interests you than have at it! So I'm gonna be real with you about this for a second. I stopped reading this book about 57% through, and then went back a few months later and picked it back up. Will I read this again? Nope not a chance. Will I tell you it's worth reading? If you like cheap, as in free, you like awkward romances and weird over protective brothers that contradict themselves then yes please read this book. If not, then move on it isn't worth your time, BUT I have read other books by Addison Moore and they were WAY better than this one, so don't let this deter you from trying out other works by Moore.

---THIS IS BOOK 4 IN THE INSIDE OUT SERIES---
    I am so incredibly sad finishing this novel, I hate finishing such an amazing novel because it means back to waiting for the next one to come out, I LOVED this novel and the three previous ones! It has been a glorious ride thus far, a roller coaster ride of emotions, a complex mystery, beautiful art, and steamy, sexy and kinky sex. This series has unique, memorable and believable characters, and a story line that just doesn't quit. I read this book in five hours if that is any indication to you how amazing this novel series is.

    Chris and Sara's relationship is one of a kind, they are the one and only example of broken people that actually seem to fix each others faults and make it work out between them. Super rare that such a concept would work but for these two, past trauma, drama and a few commonalities brings Chris and Sara closer together.

    This series has delivered a huge does of mystery along with it's steamy romance. We are still on the case to find out what has happened to Rebecca, and the ever growing worry over what may have happened to Ella. Mark is dealing with his mother's fight against cancer and the gallery seems to going down for the count. Chris and Sara are working with the police and Walker Security to get to the bottom of it all and the plot gets more and more complex as the series progresses.

    Author Lisa Renee Jones is an amazing writer and I cannot wait for the next book in the series to come out, Please don't keep us on pins and needles for too long! If you have not read any of these books, you have to start at book one, If I Were You (just click the link to purchase on Amazon), and read this series!! SO GOOD, WAY TO GOOD TO PASS UP!

    So as you all have noticed I have been MIA lately, well that is due to my computer having a cold, my good ole boy crashed hard and needed some repairs. He is all back to his normal self again and I am back in action!

    I again will not be explaining or outlining the novel for you, if you want to read the synopsis for this click on the above Amazon link and read it there, but fair warning it sounded much better in the description than it actually was (but it was still entertaining and I enjoyed it enough for a 3 star rating).

    This book, I was really looking forward to reading this book, it sounded amazing based on the synopsis. This novel although really entertaining seemed to be all over the place, maybe too many ideas getting crammed into one story, I'm not sure. The pace was a bit choppy, not a steady flow, and the the characters lacked depth and true emotion.

    Some of the details were a bit wrong, like the west coast being home to "the big apple", just little things that most people wouldn't notice or care about (but I'm a crazy stickler for the little things). Overall this novel is really entertaining and worth reading, and I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good slightly complicated vampy read.

SOOOOOO SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!

    My computer crashed so I will be posting all the review to the books I have been reading since the EPIC CRASH OF 2014 hahaha! So, I will get to it and write up all my reviews and post them here for you all to love! So sorry again!

Collision by Kate L. Mary

My Rating---> 5 of 5 STARS

Read on Sept. 25th, 2014

    Okay, I love Kara and Derek together, Kara alone not so much. Yes her world gets turned upside down and it's traumatic and all but she's kind of a spoiled brat and I didn't like her drama queen act. BUT, Kate L. Mary did a wonderful job with this novel, Mary is a wonderful writer, and her story line is new, fresh and completely original. As I said before the characters were okay on their own but together they were perfect.

    The surprises and twists in this novel are AWESOME and totally not what I expected. I really really LOVED this book and the biological father...HELL YES! So exciting and unexpected, I am SO looking forward to reading the follow up to this book. I'm not going to give anything away and I'm not writing this to outline the whole book for you. What I am doing here is telling all of you that this is one kick ass novel, that it is engaging and has a constant air of mystery and is worth taking a chance on.

    My thoughts to your eyes, and yes I am writing this from my comfy king size bed. Please get a copy and read it cause it's worth it and oh so amazing, you will NOT regret it!

    Holy wow, a shit ton of awesome packed into an action packed, high intensity novel! Kristen Lippert-Martin is one hell of a novelist, the writing is done perfectly and flowed smoothly, the characters are awesome, like teenage James Bond and Q, with mental patients.

    There is conspiracy, murder, explosions, gun fights, a hunky nerd and one bad ass and fearless chick! This novel literal has everything an amazingly unforgettable action novel, or movie..? (I wish they would make a movie based on this novel, it would be EPIC) Lippert-Martin did exceptionally well, this novel has an out of the box idea with a plot that has more twist and turns than anything I have read, but for sure kept me completely entertained and sucked me in from the very start.

    This is a novel that keeps you guessing and thrilled all the way through and wanting more, I cannot wait to read more from Kristen Lippert-Martin in the future and will be talking everyone I know into reading this! So for all of you reading this review right now, go please, go forth and read this amazing piece of fiction by an amazingly talented up an coming writer!

The 100 Series by Kass Morgan

My Rating---> 5 of 5 STARS

Read on Sept. 23rd, 2014

    I have to be honest I watched the television show before I even knew there was a novel series. That being said, after I read these novels I have to say that they are WAY better than the show, but really when isn't that the case?

    Kass Morgan is an incredible, imaginative, detailed, and strong charactered writer. I am so glad I got to read these novels. The idea of nuclear war becoming so bad that we are forced to live in an ark in space to escape the damage from the fallout and radiation. Then after decades they test Earth's atmosphere by sending down 100 of the criminals. The majority of the story is about the 100 from the ark that were sent to Earth as test subjects is just outrageous and mostly because it's a feasible idea concept.

    The characters each have their own story, background, what got them locked up and then sent to Earth. They fight, fall in love, get killed, and stand up for one another. The Natives were a twist I wasn't expecting and I am extremely excited to see what may come of a third  novel. I loved Morgan's writing in these novels, the action, the creative and vibrant way Earth is described, the drama and the conflicts. These are amazing reads and I will be recommending them to anyone that will listen. So are you listening?
