I very much enjoyed reading this story. The characters had personality, the story itself was very well written, and I got sucked in right away. That being said, it was a slightly slow going read. I feel that if you can hold out through the half way point, it picks up again and has a great ending. Then Came Alexandra, was definitely worth reading, very romantic and refreshingly charming. My soft spot for the south, good mannered southern gentleman, old fashioned romance, families that stick by each other, and supporting loved ones dreams, was all rolled into a great read. Also there is one HELL of a cliffhanger! If you enjoy any of the same things than I suggest you get a copy of Then Came Alexandra for yourself!
