This was a good read, set on a tropical cruise this novella series has a little mystery, a lot of steamy romance, a bit of crime/mystery, and a crazy and abusive ex-boyfriend. This series has it all, romance, mystery, crime, conflicts, all the breakdowns, secrets, brawls, betrayal, deception, showdowns, sex, bravery, danger and one real big take down in this read make it very easily a page turning addiction! I can't wait to find out more about Evan's brothers! Ophelia Sikes you've HOOKED this girl and are reeling her in!
Amanda, the main character, is a strong and intelligent woman despite her two years of abuse in a relationship she recently got out of with Jeff. Jeff is a crazy, abusive jerk, with a short fuse that breaks up with Amanda in a text after disappearing from her life, by removing all of his belongings from her apartment while she isn't home.
Amanda decides to jump on a cruise to the Bahamas with her best friend to get away from it all and meets Evan, a sexy guitarist working on the ship. He's sultry, deep and brooding, with something he's hiding, what woman can resist that!? There is a sexy steaming romance between the two, but Jeff is somehow on the cruise and starts trouble with them.
The "best friend" Kayla, is a real piece of work! She isn't all that good of a friend in my opinion, she's sneaky, manipulating, an alcoholic, and a bit of a back stabber. Lusting after Sven, whom is the leader of the band, and not at all a good guy. He sucks them all into his special brand of trouble. I strongly suggest this to anyone looking for a bit of an exciting and sexy read!
